I recently visited Disneyland with my sister who had never been. There is nothing like visiting one of the parks with someone who is going for the first time. We had a blast! I asked her a few questions on the last day of our trip.
What was your favorite park at Disneyland?
Disney California Adventure Park, but loved the nostalgia of Disneyland.
Favorite attraction and why?
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. I had misconceptions that it would be similar ride format to the Tower of Terror at Walt Disney World just with a different storyline but was pleasantly surprised that it was a whole different experience. I loved the music and that the ride experience was different each time we rode.
Favorite food experience?
For snacks, the quesabirra egg roll from Lucky 8 Lantern and strawberry croissant from Jolly Holiday. For a meal, Naples Ristorante in downtown Disney. The food was great, atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were delicious.
Number one tip for someone coming for the first time?
Familiarize yourself with the app ahead of time. If you are used to Walt Disney World, the technical experience in Disneyland is quite different. Stay on property, if you can! The proximity to the parks is amazing and very manageable. And, go early! The crowds started to roll in between 10:00 and 11:00 AM.
