EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival 2022

Updated: Jul 28, 2022

We were so grateful to visit EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival this year! We will be back but the first time is always so much fun exploring the new and tasty options. Pro-tip: go with friends who order things you would not traditionally and safely try all the new things!

While we liked everything we had there were a few highlights for us. Keep in mind the festival adds more foods as the months go on. Our favorite drink was the La Passion Martini Slush. It was hot while we were there, and I mean Florida in July hot, so this refreshing slush was exactly what we needed. We took this back and enjoyed while waiting for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! The slush is vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron, cranberry, and passion fruit juice. Not too sweet but just right!

One of our other faves was on the other side of World Showcase at the Mexico booth and it was so good we forgot to take a picture! The It Takes Two to Mango Margarita is a yummy blend of Mezcal Ilegal Joven, mango purée, Nixta Corn Liqueur, rum, and ancho chile lime juice served on the rocks with hibiscus-salt rim. Again, the refreshing vibes we needed. This booth also had one of our favorite foods— a tostada. The Tostada de Barbacoa is beef on a fried corn tortilla with chipotle black beans, salsa verde, Mexican crema, queso fresco, and chives. The crunch is perfect. We do love the Mexico pavilion all year round!

In China, our favorite was the Mongolian Beef Bao Bun with onion. But the booth overall gets a 10/10 because we ordered one of everything including the dumplings and the noodles.

While I could go on, I’ll stop with the Gnocchi di Patate in Italy! We were not expecting much and were blown away by this one. A must try!

We will be back and are looking forward to trying some of the new flavors and having some of this (the slush) again. Cheers!
