But the Kids Will Not Remember

They always say that you simply cannot go to Walt Disney World or on that trip if your kids are “too young” because the kids will not remember! I hear this all the time.

How do we account for the joy and happiness they feel in the present? How do we capture the pure joy we as parents feel watching our children behold the magic? Our youngest, who is newly 2 years old, probably will not “remember” this specific trip. She will see all the photos, replay it with her cousins, and hear the stories from family so many times that it will feel as though she does remember.

Some families must wait for the perfect moment for all the kids to take a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. For most this is simply not the case. You will remember this trip. You will remember the “look mommy” and warmth washing over you when you see the magic in their eyes. So whether it is a long trip somewhere you have been dreaming of or a short trip down the road, find the adventure.

Their childhood is built on millions of small moments. They will remember.
